Description

Echinacea ‘Breeders Mix’ is a mix of striking flowers. They stand out for their size and colours: a combination of an orange-brown heart surrounded by contrasting pink, yellow or white petals. Even when the flower has finished flowering and the discolored leaves hang down, this flower still has ornamental value. An additional attraction is that during the flowering period there is a coming and going of countless bumblebees and butterflies. The Echinacea is suitable for sunny positions and fertile soil that is not too wet. Give this plant a 3- to 4-cm layer of compost every fall so it doesn’t have to fight too hard with other species for nutrients.
