Description
Decorative Dahlia Creme de Cassis is a waterlily flower that blooms from July until the first frost. The dark pink petals are outlined and centered with dark burgundy and are truly stunning in any border or container garden and is an excellent cut flower with a long vase life. Dahlia Creme de Cassis is beautiful solo but combines well with perennials and other like Dahlias. Dahlia tubers should be planted in the spring in a sunny area because they are sensitive to frost, so don’t plant too early. Dig a spacious planting hole, loosen the soil and fill the hole with good potting soil. Place the tubers in the hole and cover with 3-5 cm. soil with a planting distance of 30-60 cm. Water the tubers immediately after planting. Store tubers in a frost-free place after flowering and they will be enjoyed for years to come.
