This dahlia is not very pollinator friendly so for better biodiversity, plant nectar rich companions nearby such as salvia, nepeta, verbena bonariensis, borage or phacelia. Plant after frost risk in full sun and free draining soil improved with compost. Water steadily, feed from bud stage, deadhead regularly, then lift and store tubers frost free after the first frosts.
