Crocus tom. Whitewell Purple

Species

Description

Crocus Whitewell Purple is the paler purple of the species but that doesn’t make it any less stunning. Cup-shaped flowers with orange stamen are held on strong stems making it sturdier than others and do well in sunny or partially shaded borders, beds, gravel or rock gardens, wildflower meadows, banks and slopes, edging, or in pots on the patio or balcony. Combines beautifully with other crocuses such as angustifolius, Cream Beauty, or chrys. Fuscotincus. Very suitable for naturalising . Bee-friendly.
