Description
Crocus Snowbunting is a charming, lightly scented variety with creamy white blooms and a subtle blush of lavender on the outer petals. Flowering from late February, it offers understated elegance and early interest, particularly suited to Irish woodland edges, lawns, and semi-wild areas.
Its soft colouring pairs effortlessly with blue and gold early bulbs like Scilla siberica, Chionodoxa forbesii, and Crocus Cream Beauty. It’s also an excellent choice for naturalistic or cottage-style borders where delicate structure and subtle contrasts are favoured. Snowbunting thrives in moist but well-drained soils and will naturalise gently in light shade.
