Crocus angustifolius

Crocus angustifolius

Species

Description

Crocus angustifolius is a small-flowering deep yellow crocus with a dark mahogany flame. This burst of life appears when winter is barely over. It continues to bloom for a long time due to the cold early spring. Lovely in sunny borders, beds, gravel or rock gardens, wildflower meadows or in pots on the patio or balcony. Combines beautifully with other crocuses, scilla, puschkinia and chionodoxa. Very suitable for naturalising in the grass. Bee-friendly.
