Crocus Advance

Crocus Advance

Bicolour early crocus with lilac outer petals and golden-yellow centres. Striking in low borders, lawns, and spring naturalising schemes.

Description

Crocus Advance is a unique chrysanthus-type variety producing bi-toned blooms with creamy-lilac outer petals and vibrant golden-yellow centres. Flowering in late February to early March, it’s one of the first splashes of colour to brighten up spring lawns and borders.

Its compact size and strong contrast make it a standout in gravel planting, meadow lawns, and naturalistic drifts. Well-suited to Ireland’s cool, damp spring weather, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soils.

Pairs well with other early flowers such as Galanthus, Chionodoxa luciliae or Crocus tommasinianus.
