Colchicum Waterlily

Autumn Flowering Colchicum

Colchicum Waterlily is a hybrid between Cochicum autumnale Alboplenum and Colchicum Album. The large, fully double pink-purple flowers form into a shape similar to a true Waterlily. The flowers appear in the fall, followed by strappy leaves that appear in spring but die back in the summer. This plant thrives when planted in sheltered, sunny, moist, well-drained areas in gardens, meadows, rock gardens, beds, borders, underplanting of shrubs or in pots or containers. Excellent naturaliser in grass or sunny border areas.
