Description

Colchicum Giant is a favourite as it is the tallest of the colchicums. It produces up to 5, purple goblet-shaped flowers with white bases per corm. The flowers appear in the fall, followed by strappy leaves that appear in spring but die back in the summer. This plant thrives when planted in sunny, moist, well-drained areas in gardens, meadows, rock gardens,beds, borders, underplanting of shrubs or in pots or containers.
