Description

Anemone blanda Blue Shades is a large, daisy like flower in pretty blue-purple hues, a yellow centre and deeply cut leaves. It grows best in well drained soil, in full or partial sun, in beds, rock gardens, or in pots on the patio or balcony. Plant in one variety drifts or with other flowers, such as snakehead fritillaries to create an interesting, eye-catching display.  Extremely suitable for naturalising, especially under trees and shrubs, making it a nice ground cover. The nectar pollen rich flower makes it very attractive to bees.
