Description

Single flowering Amaryllis Ambiance, or Pink Amaryllis, blooms large white flowers with red stripes and a bright green throat. Easily forced indoors to bloom over Christmas, or any other time of the year, as it produces flowers approximately 6-8 weeks after planting. Best results when planted slightly above the soil in a container and placed in a dark area at room temperature (15-20 degrees) until shoots appear when it can be moved to a bright, sunny location. Turning the pot slightly every day will keep the stem straight. Once flowering is completed, bulbs can be stored and encouraged the following year or can be planted in sunny areas outdoors once the weather begins to warm.
