Description
Allium vineale Hair is a novelty allium with wispy unusual flower heads that give a modern and slightly wild effect in the border. It is well suited to prairie planting, contemporary naturalistic schemes and specialist public gardens where more unusual bulb forms are appreciated. Horticulturists can use it to add movement, texture and a less conventional ornamental layer to late spring compositions. It is particularly effective when repeated through grasses and airy perennial planting.
