Description
Allium scorodoprasum âArtâ is a robust, naturalising bulb that produces deep purple, oval-shaped flower heads in early to mid-summer. Standing at 60â90cm tall, these uniquely elongated blooms are excellent for planting through grasses or weaving into mixed perennial schemes. This allium thrives in free-draining soil with good sun exposure and performs especially well in low-intervention spaces like roadside verges, rural meadows, and pollinator-focused planting projects. Its late-season structure also extends visual interest beyond the flowering period as the seedheads dry attractively.
