Description

Known as the “Firework Allium,” Allium schubertii is a show-stopper in any professional planting scheme. Its huge, starburst-like umbels span up to 30 cm across, with metallic pink florets on stalks of varying lengths, creating a unique, three-dimensional effect. It reaches about 40–50 cm in height and thrives in well-drained soils and sunny sites.

Particularly suited to modern urban landscapes, public beds, gravel gardens, and feature borders, this allium is as visually impressive in bloom as it is when left standing for its dried seed heads.
