Description
Allium Purple Caila is a striking addition to the late spring garden, offering rich violet-purple globe blooms with a neat, compact form. Its medium height makes it perfect for mid-border planting, container displays, or weaving through perennials for added texture and colour.
Standing at around 50–60cm tall, Purple Caila is shorter than some of its giant cousins, but still delivers serious impact with its dense, perfectly rounded flower heads. It’s ideal for smaller gardens or tighter planting spaces where a bold splash of purple is still welcome.
This variety is low maintenance, drought tolerant once established, and highly attractive to bees and butterflies. Flowering in May to early June, it extends the allium season beautifully.
