Description
Allium âMiamiâ is a striking ornamental allium featuring rounded umbels packed with deep reddish-violet flowers that appear in early to mid-summer. Growing to around 60â70 cm tall, it bridges the flowering gap between late-spring bulbs and high-summer perennials, making it a valuable addition for succession planting. This cultivar performs well in full sun and well-drained soils, making it an excellent choice for dry borders, gravel gardens, and meadow-style landscapes. Its moderate height allows it to mix beautifully with grasses and herbaceous plants without overwhelming the space. Highly attractive to pollinators, Allium âMiamiâ is also rabbit- and deer-resistant, making it suitable for public planting schemes and lower-maintenance commercial projects.
