Description
Allium Atlas bears large globe-like, purple, star-shaped flowers and green centres. The loosely compacted flowers are shorter than other large globe varieties and will thrive when planted in fertile, well drained soil. Plant bulbs in a sunny area alone in clumps, or with ornamental grasses, other alliums, or between perennials or shrubs. This will surely create a dramatic effect. This allium attracts butterflies and bees during flowering. Suitable for naturalising.
