Alcea rosea ‘Peaches ‘n Dreams’ (hollyhock) is a high-growing plant with a strong stem and large pink flowers. It is a beautiful vertical bloomer. The inflorescence is beautiful and very suitable for the house or along the fence. The hollyhock is a real sun worshipper. Well-drained, somewhat sandy soil is excellent. Fertilization is key as is moist soil. Place young plants about 50 cm apart. Hollyhocks often self-seed and look for beautiful spots in the garden.
