Tulip Shell is a flamboyant double early tulip that is similar to a peony. The shimmering red petals with bright yellow edging of Tulip Shell are truly eye catching. Plant in a sunny area with good drainage in gardens borders, beds or pots or containers or as underplanting for roses or shrubs. The dual colour makes this an eye catcher when planted alone or mix with other doubles such as Marie Jo or Mondial or single earlies such as Hermitage.
