Description
Tigridia pavonia mix (Tiger Flower or Mexican shell flower) has triangular flowers of 15 cm. and are very colourful. The leaves resemble those of the gladiolus or iris. The plant has several flowers per branch, each flower only blooms for a few days. Height 45 cm. The planting depth is 8 cm. and the planting distance is 8-12 cm. Tigridias can only tolerate light frost. It is therefore recommended to dig up the tubers in the autumn to overwinter them frost-free and to plant them again in the spring.
