Description
Dahlia Octopus Sparkle is probably the most unusual Dahlia as it is a cross between an anemone and an orchid dahlia. This flower is prepacked as a single tuber. The unusual anemone looks like an orange octopus with its curled orchid type petals recessing from a full orange, sprinkled with yellow, centre. Dahlia Octopus Sparkle will give you months of pleasure as it blooms from July through the first frost. Dahlia tubers should be planted in the spring in full to partial sun. However they are sensitive to frost, so don’t plant too early. The planting distance of the tubers is 30-60 cm and 3-5cm deep. Water the tubers immediately after planting. Store the tubers in a frost-free place after flowering and you will enjoy them for years to come. Dahlia Evanah combines well with perennials and other Dahlia varieties due to its attractive colouring and foliage.
