Description
Crinum powellii ‘Album’ (Swamp Lily) makes a thick fleshy stem on which the trumpet-like white flowers stand. The thick and very long leaves are sword-shaped. The bulb should not be planted too deeply and likes a place in full sun. Crinum is moderately hardy (-10C) and therefore requires a sheltered spot with winter cover in the garden. Crinum can also be planted in a pot. In a pot it is necessary to let the plant overwinter in a cool and frost-free environment.
