We were delighted to have the opportunity to go along to the annual GLDA Conference at the Crown Plaza Hotel Santry on Saturday 22nd February. 

There were excellent presentations all round on the topic of Resilient Gardens and dealing with the impacts of climate change. It was great to catch up with current customers, and to meet new faces. 

Some of the more pressing topics discussed were what plants are suitable for areas that are prone to flooding. The approach generally advocated was once of working with the changing environment (adapting to the climate) using plants that not only survive but thrive and support the soil structure in the face of dramatic swings from wet to dry.
