Description
Tulip Jumpshot is a red-and-yellow tulip planted where spring colour needs to be bright, clean and easy to use across beds, pots and containers. Its value is in the direct contrast between warm red and yellow, giving a planted scheme a clear, upbeat appearance without relying on heavily ruffled, double or novelty flower forms. This bright red tulip with yellow margins grows to approximately 40cm tall, flowering from April to May.
Tulip Jumpshot is useful where a bright spring feature is needed at a practical medium height. It suits civic beds, hotel entrance planters, estate borders, public garden displays, courtyard containers, school grounds, commercial frontages and seasonal landscape schemes. The red-and-yellow combination gives strong visibility from a distance, while the 40cm height keeps the variety usable in containers and front-to-mid border positions.
Jumpshot can be planted as a clear bicolour feature block or used to add warmth through mixed tulip schemes. It combines well with yellow narcissus, blue muscari, plain red tulips, golden tulips, cream tulips and later alliums. In commercial planting, it is best used in repeated groups rather than scattered thinly, so the red and yellow contrast reads as a deliberate spring display.
