Dahlia Verrone’s Obsidian is a beautiful orchid Dahlia prepacked as a single tuber. This flower boasts blackish-red curled petals with a golden yellow centre. It looks like a star from the sky! Verrone’s Obsidian’s unusual shape and dark colour makes this an unusual eye-catching and beautiful display planted either alone or with other Dahlias. This flower will give you months of pleasure as it blooms from July through the first frost. Dahlia tubers should be planted in the spring in full to partial sun. However they are sensitive to frost, so don’t plant too early. The planting distance of the tubers is 30-60 cm and 3-5cm deep. Water the tubers immediately after planting. Store the tubers in a frost-free place after flowering and you will enjoy them for years to come.
