Description
Zantedeschia ‘Morning Sun’ is a stunning funnel-like flower of yellow that melts into shades of red orange at the outer edges and it sits on top of strong, dark green leaves with white spots. Zantedeschia Morning Sun can be planted both indoors and out, once the danger of night frost has disappeared. If planting indoors, place the tuber in a pot with good soil then place it in full light immediately and water regularly. Outside, plant them 10 cm. deep in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. When planting in flower pots and planters, always use new potting soil. Zantedeschia can be combined nicely with hostas, among other summer blooms. Give Zantedeschia plenty of water in the summer, the soil must be kept slightly moist at all times. For potted plants, place a saucer under the pot and always leave a layer of water in it during dry periods. Zantedeschia is not resistant to frost, that is why it is advisable to grow plants in a pot and to overwinter them frost-free. Keep the potting soil on the dry side in winter. Water more in early spring and put Zantedeschia outside again in spring (after the last frost).
