Description
Tall spikes of vibrant red flowers make Gladiolus ‘Tango Passion’ a beautiful, long summer bloomer that flowers in July and August and beyond if the weather is good. Gladiolus Tango Passion’s hot red colour will add sizzle to any summer garden or border. Gladiolus tubers should be planted about 7-10 cm deep in the spring. This allows rainwater to drain well under the tubers. Space the tubers about 10-12 cm apart. Add some good potting soil when planting. Mix heavy (clay) soil with sharp sand before planting. This large-flowered Gladiolus likes to grow in a warm sunny spot. Gladiolus Tango Passions’ pure red colour is special and can combine with tall perennials and Dahlias to create a dramatic display. Preferably plant Gladiolus in a different spot every year.
