Description

Linifolia, or the Flax-leaved Tulip, is a favourite species tulip with open bowl-shaped red flowers hosting a purply-black base and possible yellow marginal markings on narrow, strappy leaves. It makes good ground cover and is excellent in rock gardens or pots and containers, so long as it has a bit of shelter.
