Description
Scilla bifolia Rosea offers a softer pink interpretation of the classic early scilla effect and is especially useful where a gentler spring palette is preferred. Its compact habit makes it suitable for the front of borders, gravel planting, containers and naturalised groups beneath deciduous shrubs and trees. For horticulturists and specialist gardeners it provides welcome colour variation among the more typical blue and white early bulbs. In Irish conditions it is best used in well drained but moisture retentive spring soil where it can build into a low flowering carpet over time.
