Yellow Stuttgarter is known as a longtime storage onion. This popular onion has a mild to slightly pungent flavor, being a little spicy if eaten raw but sweetens as it cooks. Prepare soil several weeks ahead of planting disbursing compost to increase fertility and improve drainage. Planting area should not be too wet.
