Persica

Persica

Fritillaria Persica, 40 per Crate 28/+ with an individual product label.

Description

Fritillaria Persica is a very beautiful fritillaria species with silvery gray-green leaves. The stem is covered with many bell-shaped, deep purple flowers. Prefers a sunny, well-fertilised and humus-rich place in the garden. The strong smell from the bulbs keeps mice and moles at bay. It is advisable to plant the bulb in a sunny area at a slight angle when planting to prevent water from accumulating in the bulb. It is not a true “naturalist”. If you want to keep the bulbs, harvest them as soon as possible after the leaves have died and keep them in a dry place above 20 degrees until replanting in October. Looks great at the back of a mixed bulb planting or combines nicely with other bulbs in a pot on a patio or balcony.
