XXL pack of 10. These exotic Mirabilis jalapa Mix flowers originated in Peru. The trumpet-shaped flowers are usually yellow, pink, white, and lilac colour but different colour flowers are often found growing on the same plant and sometimes even change colours as the season progresses. That is becaue these flowers are not formed from petals but are a pigmented modification of calyx. The flower on this plant do not like daylight and only open later in the afternoon, early everning or when it is overcast. They grow to an approximate height of 50 cm. The tubers/rhizomes should be planted in Feb – May (once threat of frost has passed) in full sun and does not like the cold. The soil should not be too fertile but well drained. Do not let the soil dry out. Before the first frost, the tubers should be lifted and stored in peat dust, cool and dry and replanted in the spring.
