Description

Colchicum autumnale Pleniflorum produces a double purply-pink flower with a masses of narrow petals that appears in the fall with strappy basal leaves that appear in spring but die back in the summer. Thrives when planted in sheltered, sunny, moist, well-drained areas in gardens, meadows, rock gardens, underplanting of shrubs or in pots or containers.
