Parsley is a light scented, subtle tasting herb used in many recipes including soups, salads, sauces, vegetables, butters, stuffing or as a garnish. Plus it is rich in Vitamin C and iron. Parsley can easily grow in sunny, partially shaded herb gardens, as flower borders or in large containers. Plants need to be well watered and harvest as needed to encourage further growth. Take a few leafy stems from the outside of the clump and snip near the base with a scissors. Leaves are best fresh but can be frozen or dried to use in winder.
