Growing from June through October and growing to 25 cm tall, it is the perfect plant for hanging baskets and pots as it spills over the top of the container. The best planting period for Begonia is spring after the danger of frost has passed. Plant the tubers with their hollow sides up cover them with a thin layer of moist retaining compost enriched soil. In the spring, when there is no longer a chance of frost, plant the Begonia back outside.
