Allium tuberosum

Allium tuberosum

Small Flowering

Description

Allium tuberosum, or Garlic chives, is similar to ordinary chives. This plant with its strappy leaves and star shaped, white flower cluster is easily grown and can be used to replace garlic but has more of a sweet garlic flavour rather than chives. This little wonder can be sown in sunny, well drained, gardens, beds, borders, rock gardens, containers or along the coast. Bee and pollinator friendly.
