Allium oreophilum (Ostrows.)

Allium oreophilum (Ostrows.)

Small Flowering

Description

A small, hardy allium variety that produces domed heads of pink to light red coloured flowers on narrow, semi-erect grey-green leaves. This plant name means ‘mountain-loving’ but can be planed in full to partial sun in any soil. That means that you can grow near paths, rock gardens, at the front of a border or even in pots. It combines well with osteospermum, Iris, Lavender, and Sage. This allium attracts butterflies and bees during flowering.
